Regular school attendance is essential for academic success. Maryland State law requires that all students between the ages of 5 and 18 attend school regularly. Legends Charter School follows Prince George's County Public Schools attendance policies and procedures.
Reporting Absences
Parents/guardians must notify the school office by phone or email on the day of the absence. Detailed procedures for excused and unexcused absences, documentation requirements, and make-up work policies are outlined in the full handbook.
Tardiness
Students are expected to arrive on time each day. Excessive tardiness may result in disciplinary action and impact academic progress. Arrival and dismissal procedures are detailed in the complete handbook.
