Legends Public Charter School scholars and educators

We believe that brilliance has no boundaries.

Our Signature Model

The Two-Adult Classroom Model

At Legends, our youngest scholars benefit from a powerful advantage: two dedicated adults in every K-2 classroom, with strategic support extending into ELA and Math across grade levels.

This is not a traditional aide model. Each classroom has a certified lead teacher and a trained Legends Fellow (AmeriCorps)—working together to provide targeted, high-quality instruction and support.

Financial Education
from Kindergarten
Through Eighth Grade

Scholars don't just learn about money—they use it, manage it, and grow it. Through our partnership with Equity Now and our OFID model (Open. Fund. Invest. Donate.), students apply for business licenses, launch student-led businesses, and pitch at the annual Legends Shark Tank.

Because Financial Education isn't a luxury—it's a civil right. And it starts here, in every grade, every year.

The Two-Adult
Model

Our signature model: every K-2 classroom is led by a certified lead teacher and a trained Legends Fellow (AmeriCorps)—with strategic support extending into ELA and Math. Because every scholar deserves to be known, seen, and believed in.
