Academic Progress & Growth
We track scholar growth from baseline, not just absolute achievement. A scholar who makes two years of progress in one year is succeeding, even if they're below grade level. Growth is our measure of what's possible.
Engagement & Attendance
We measure scholar engagement in classroom learning, participation in enrichment, and school attendance. Scholars who show up and engage are setting themselves up for success.
Social-Emotional & Climate Data
We survey scholars and families about belonging, safety, relationships, and school climate. Social-emotional health is integral to academic success.
College & Career Readiness
For middle school scholars, we track indicators of readiness for high school and beyond: academic preparation, leadership experience, and access to networks.

Our Approach to Outcomes
We measure multiple outcomes. We don't reduce scholar success to a single test score. We track academic growth, engagement, social-emotional health, and long-term outcomes. A whole scholar thrives in multiple ways.
We believe in growth, not just achievement. A scholar who makes two years of progress in one year is more successful than a scholar who stays in place, even if the latter started further ahead. We celebrate growth.
We disaggregate data. We look at outcomes for all scholars, and specifically for different groups: scholars of color, English learners, scholars with disabilities, scholars from low-income backgrounds. Are all groups thriving, or are some being left behind? We address disparities.
We triangulate data sources. We combine academic assessments, formative data from teachers, family feedback, and scholar voice to paint a complete picture. No single measure tells the whole story.
We use outcomes to improve. Data isn't just for reporting. It's for reflection and action. When we see a scholar struggling, we intervene. When we see a program that's working, we double down.
What Our Data Tells Us
Over six years, we've served 900+ scholars. Our two-adult classroom model works. Scholars make strong progress. Families report high satisfaction. Teachers stay and grow. The model is proving that excellent education is possible when we invest in smaller classes and partnership.
