Legends Public Charter School serves students in grades K-8 from across Prince George's County, Maryland.

There is no tuition. There are no entrance exams. Admission is through the Prince George's County Public Charter School lottery.

We enroll 60-80 kindergartners each year. Applications open November 1 through the PG County lottery system.

Kindergarten students must turn 5 years old by September 1 of the enrollment year.

We accept students into all grades K-8 based on availability. Most seats become available in kindergarten and 6th grade.

Current families are given priority for sibling enrollment.

Applications open November 1 and close in February. All applications submitted during this window are treated equally in the lottery.

A computer-generated random lottery is held in early March. Families are notified of their lottery number and waitlist status.

Families have two weeks to accept their seat. If they decline, the seat goes to the next family on the waitlist.
