Anita Williams

Anita Williams is a dedicated educational leader and administrative professional whose career spans healthcare, school operations, and youth development. Raised in Buffalo, New York, Anita's early commitment to service shaped her belief in the power of care, consistency, and community.

Her professional journey began in health services, where she supported patients, families, and administrators in impactful roles at MedStar Health and Howard University. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences from Trinity Washington University, merging clinical insight with a passion for systems-level impact.

Anita has a rich history of effectively working with children, parents, guardians, and community members. She possesses in-depth knowledge of school system policies, educational principles, and operational needs.

Since joining Legends Charter School in 2020, Anita has served in multiple leadership roles, including Principal Secretary and Dean of Students. In each position, she has fostered a joyful and affirming work culture while streamlining systems and ensuring regulatory compliance.

As Assistant Director of Edventures, Legends Charter School's before and aftercare program, Anita brings structure, warmth, and intentionality to extended-day learning. She oversees daily operations with a focus on consistency and care, ensuring that scholars are supported academically, socially, and emotionally beyond the traditional school hours.
